The Miami Hurricanes football team is poised to reveal a new logo following tonight’s 48-0 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers. The loss, worst in school history, marked the Hurricanes last contest in it’s long time home, the Orange Bowl. The new logo will feature an ‘O’ to symbolize this embarrassing loss to the Cavaliers. The school will no longer be referred to as “The U” by broadcasters, alums or NFL personnel.
Here is a mock up of the new Miami Hurricane logo:
We’re still awaiting word on whether the former ‘U’ will retain the two green leaves or simply go au natural. As it stands, the new logo symbolizes the offensive futility which defines this team. It was that bad.
i think its stupid to change the logo, i go to a school that uses the U in blue and i love it, bad decision.
It was a joke. They’re not changing the logo. They may change QB’s or something, but the logo will stay.
