Criticism of US Training in Iraq

Is this story getting worse ever time “we” look?  This just in:

Two senior members of the House Armed Services Committee and several former Defense Department officials yesterday criticized poor U.S. training and deployment of the Iraqi army and police as a major reason the Baghdad government cannot provide security to its people.

The recent stories and fatality counts coming out of Iraq must be enough for Americans to question some very fundamental things about themselves.  After you’ve asked, “What did they know?” and “When did they decide to lie about it?”, you’ll have to ask how long will the charade continue.

Three hundred years into the charade of democracy, the illusion continues.  Is this merely a question of schooling or is something else at play?
